Health properties
Laboratory and clinical studies have shown a reduction in dental plaque and bleeding of the gums.
Antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancerous, and antioxidant properties of the lingonberry have been preserved in the manufacturing process and only sugar levels have been reduced through fermentation.
Caries-related Streptococcus mutans and candidosis-related Candida levels are reduced as well as periodontal disease-related pathogen levels.
Levels of lactobacilli on the other hand are increased, which is thought to be a beneficial probiotic effect balancing the oral microbiota.
Directions for use
Intensive treatment
The recommended period of use is two weeks at the time. Rinse mouth with 10 ml of Lingora® Natural Oral Rinse twice a day for a duration of 30 seconds.
For continuous use
Rinse mouth 10 ml of Lingora® Natural Oral Rinse once a day for a duration of 30 seconds.
Safe to use
Using this product according to instructions does not increase the risk of dental erosion. Harmless if swallowed.
Nutritional value
The lingonberry has almost no calories, is virtually fat-free and does not contain any saturated fat. Lingonberries are rich in vitamin E and are a source of dietary fibre.
Lingonberries contain many minerals (e.g. potassium, magnesium and manganese) and micronutrients (e.g. zinc and iron).
Arctic lingonberries are rich in polyphenols, such as, lignans, resveratrol, quercetin and proanthocyanidins. Lingonberries contain more lignans than any other berry species.
It is also rich in organic acids, which play an important role as natural preservatives in berries and other foods. Lingonberries are known to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti-cancerous properties and are considered beneficial to health.
